Our Finishes – explained briefly

Our wooden figures are available in different finishes.  These terms describe how the figures are crafted and finished.

Natural:

The Natural finish highlights the wood in its pure form.

The figures are finely sanded and left untreated or protected with a clear oil. The natural wood grain remains visible, making each piece unique.

2xPat:

2xPat refers to a double patina finish.

The surface is treated in two steps, creating more depth, contrast, and a refined handcrafted appearance. Afterwards the carving is waxed and occasionally decorized with gold.

Color:

With the Color finish, the figures are fully painted.

They are hand-painted using high-quality colors and sealed to ensure durability and a smooth surface.
