1. Initial contact
The first step in crafting a custom wood sculpture is to compleate our non-binding request form. Upon receipt, we will reach out to discuss the first iedas with our team of sculptors in Val Gardena, ensuring a high-quality sculpture that perfectly reflects your vision.
2. Paper sketches
Once the project is defined, our sculptor will draw initial pencil sketches to outline and determine the sculpture's form. Together with You, we will refine the detail that will later be carved into the wood.
3. Clay modeling
For life-sized pieces, we create a clay model to establish the final pose and provide you with a preliminary visualization of the artwork. If necessary, we can also produce a digital simulation to showcase the sculpture within its intended enviroment.
4. Wood preparation
After finalize the design, we continue with he wood preparation where we usually use "linden" for its softness and suitability for carving details. Of course we also work with other high-quality woods such as stone pine, ash, chestnu and walnut, based on your preferences.
Carving and finishing
After being rough-carved, it goes on with meticulous detailing to define each element of the wood sculpture. Upon request, we can provide you an official certificate of craftsmanship from the Bolzano Chamber of Commerce, attesting that the wood sculpture is entirely handcrafted.
6. Delivery
Finally, we also organize the international shipping of your sculpture. The sculpture is securely packed in crates and delivered via express courier. For larger sculptures, we offer personal delivery to ensure maximum security during transport
